IMAGINE someone who has a special, quiet warmth about them every time you meet them.

Every now and again you find someone who doesn’t seem to criticize ever, but always seems to understand and offer you encouragement. Imagine turning to them with an inner question, and always getting back wisdom in return. This is how White Eagle seems to many people. White Eagle first made himself known to Grace Cooke when she was a small child in a London suburb at the turn of the century.

First of all he was just a presence in the room, only to her child’s eyes and natural clairvoyance he very soon became visible in traditional Native American dress, sometimes with others around him. He seemed particularly to be there to look after her, and after a while she began to know him as White Eagle. He became as real to her as anyone she knew.

Later on in her youth White Eagle began to give messages to other people, through her mediumship. He became for them, as he had been for her, a wise and loving friend. A father? No, more like an elderly brother: one who had quite recently walked the rather difficult path they walked on this earth, and could look back on it with clear understanding and practical guidance. He seemed to understand them, and also to know their problems. Yet he didn’t give them such directions that it took their own powers away. He would simply point to theloving path to follow, and lead them away from their fears and anxieties.
